Conductivity
Conductivity measurement is a common water quality parameter measured in the drinking water and process water industries. Conductivity in water comes from the ions present in it (chloride, sulphate, carbonate etc) and measurement is based on using electrodes in a sensor in contact with the water. Conductivity is a temperature dependent parameter and thus temperature measurement and compensation is also an integral part of the sensor set up.
