Hardness
Online water hardness monitors use titration to be able to determine the total hardness present in a sample. Typically used for optimisation of water softening processes such as ion exchange or reverse osmosis; enabling high quality production of products that are influenced by water hardness.
By performing an additional titration on the same sample, a water hardness analyser is capable of determining calcium hardness, magnesium hardness and total hardness in the same sample.
